In 1994, Amy and Eric Swanson started up a one greenhouse operation specializing in perennials and herbs. For three years the business grew and began to make a name for itself. Then the introduction of hybrid annuals came along. Amy and Eric began to mix this new type of plant in with the herb containers and customers fell in love with the instant color that they offered. To keep up with demand, Everlastings had to expand.
Since then, the business has grown to be seven greenhouses nestled in 100 acres of natural wood and farmland property. Everlastings in the Wildwood now has one of the area's most unusual collections of hybrid annuals, perennials, containers and garden accessories. The business also includes a 1-1/2 acre waterfall display garden.
